Brooke

Dental Hygienist

It took me three years to be accepted into my dream Dental Hygiene program. During that time, I gained valuable experience working as a Pediatric Dental Assistant for two years. I have now been practicing as a Dental Hygienist at Custom Dental for three years. My passion for dentistry began in childhood, and I’ve always known this was the career path I wanted to pursue.

I especially enjoy patient education and the meaningful connections I build with those I care for. Helping patients achieve improved oral health through effective home care routines is incredibly rewarding—for both them and me. I also deeply appreciate the values upheld by our practice. As a faith-based organization, there is a genuine sense of compassion and purpose in our environment, creating a welcoming atmosphere for both patients and team members.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two stepchildren. We stay active with outdoor activities like fishing, visiting the park, and enjoying nature. Their father and I also share a love for golfing and thrift shopping.

Dental Assistant

One of the most rewarding parts of my career is helping patients feel comfortable, cared for, and at ease during their visits. I enjoy making my patients laugh and building genuine relationships with them by showing sincere compassion and attention to their individual needs. Earning their trust and creating a positive experience is something I take great pride in every day.

At our family-owned offices, we all share the same goals and values, which creates a welcoming environment that truly feels like one big family. Our strong support system and teamwork allow us to provide the best possible care for our patients. The Custom Dental team genuinely cares about each patient we serve, and our doctors are incredible mentors who foster meaningful relationships with the entire staff. Their appreciation and support make our workplace both positive and inspiring.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my three children whenever I can — I am proudly that kind of mom. I also enjoy spoiling my fur baby, Gumi, and even my slightly mischievous cat. Keeping my home and yard looking their best is something I enjoy, and spending quality time with friends and family is very important to me. I am also passionate about supporting animal rescues and bringing a little fun, positivity, and high-energy spirit wherever I go.

Front Office

I began my career in dentistry in 2021 after an unexpected opportunity changed my path. What started as a routine dental cleaning quickly turned into a new career journey when the dentist offered me a position at the front desk during my appointment. At the time, I had no prior knowledge of dentistry, and learning the field felt like mastering an entirely new language. Since then, I have grown to truly enjoy the profession, especially meeting new patients, assisting them with their needs, and building lasting relationships.

Custom Dental of Bonham, one of the things I value most is the supportive and welcoming team I work alongside every day. Over time, my coworkers have become more than just colleagues — they have become close friends, creating a positive and enjoyable work environment.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends. I love shopping with my mom, reading a good book, relaxing with my dog Jango, and spending weekends fishing with Monty. Whether we are visiting Lake Bonham or fishing at my parents' pond, those moments outdoors are among my favorite ways to unwind and recharge.

Dental Assistant

I have proudly worked in the dental field for more than 20 years, beginning my career after completing my education at Collin College, where I built a strong foundation in dental assisting and patient care. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to continuing education, professional growth, and providing the highest standard of care to every patient I serve.

Currently, I work as a dental assistant at Custom Dental of Bonham, where I am dedicated to creating a welcoming and positive experience for each patient. One of the most rewarding aspects of my profession is helping patients feel comfortable, cared for, and at ease — especially those who may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. I believe compassion, patience, and understanding are essential in helping patients build confidence in their dental care experience.

What I value most about working at Custom Dental of Bonham is being part of a team that genuinely cares for patients and treats them like family. I also deeply appreciate working in a Christian environment where kindness, respect, integrity, and compassion guide the way we serve others each day.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, children, and extended family, making the most of every moment together. Our family enjoys traveling, watching movies, baking, hunting, exercising, and participating in outdoor activities whenever possible. I especially enjoy supporting my children in their accomplishments, including cheering on my son as he plays collegiate baseball and supporting my daughter as she coaches STUNT/Cheer at Dallas Baptist University, the sport she passionately competed in for the past four years.
